"scary" projects i hope to tackle someday (soon?)

sooo, given that my knitting skills aren't anything special, there are certain things i haven't learned to do yet. but, when i do, there's some things i wanna knit.
something i really wanna make is a marvin from hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy. (it's under the knitting link). but i'm not exactly good at seaming, and i haven't tried any intarsia yet, so i'm still not sure about this. but this is just one of the many stuffed knits i wanna try. too bad they serve no true purpose.
one of the coolest projects i've ever seen is the knit sushi. i have no idea what the hell i'd do with it, but it's just too wickedly awesome. i guess none of it is actually hard, but it requires all sorts of different colors, most of which i don't have, so it's something i'll put on the backburner.
there are some clothing items that i wanna knit, but as i'm not good with seaming, i've been hesitant to try. sooner or later i will, i guess.
there's this cardigan i wanna try, but i really have no idea what colors i'd want to make it in. and i was also thinking of using 100% wool instead, but i really dislike the lack of washablity that comes with wool that isn't superwash. i've never done anything that required much shaping, so that makes me a bit nervous also. but the good thing about 100% wool is that it blocks extremely well - you can actually get things to behave.
i wanna attempt this halter as well cuz it's really cute. i am a bit unsure about knitting clothing that isn't a sweater cuz of the nature of knit items, but it looks good so i'll think about it.
oooh, this off-the-shoulder sweater looks really nice. the pattern uses acrylic, but i dunno about that part.
