here goes nothing...

i know i said that the danica scarf wasn't gonna happen, but i decided to tackle it... haven't gotten very far yet... the whole thing makes me kinda nervous cuz i feel like the stitches and the needles don't seem to want to cooperate... :sigh: let's see if i can get decently far without self-destructing...
eta: k, so it's working so far... i'm thinking i might wanna weave in the ends as i'm going cuz there's too many strands that keep getting tangled around. right now it doesn't have much shape - hoping it'll slowly come together the further along i get...
eta2: k, i think i'm getting the hang of doing this scarf... i guess it really isn't as hard as it seems at first. i think the scarf's gonna be around 5" wide, and right now it's 6" long... i'm like 1/12th of the way done - woohoo! haha...
