new project?

k, so the danica scarf is still going... it's about 19" long right now so i'm almost done with a 1/3 of it.
i think i've decided on a concurrent project: lace-up opera gloves. they're really cool-looking, and i'm hoping i won't have too much trouble with them. i have an entire skein of black that i was saving for some sort of armwarmers, so i might just have to use that, but i don't know what color ribbon i would want to go along with it (red? green? blue, purple, pink? haha)... i'll have to go check out what's available i guess.
